I agree with you that the recommendations, in some respects, are not radical enough. I pray, though, that all of the recommendations pass, as I feel they are gospel-centered and local church-centered. Hopefully this will be the beginning of changes in the SBC and not the end all, be all.

I've tried to keep up with this issue and all of the arguments surrounding it...and that hasn't always been easy! I am at the point where the "pros" outweigh those areas that may be seen as "cons" by some. I believe, on the whole, that this will be a healthy step for the Convention. I'm voting for it too.

It will be a very interesting Convention!
