"The Southern Baptist Convention: Retrospect and Prospect" by Tom Nettles

Dr. Tom Nettles spoke at the 2012 Founders Breakfast in New Orleans before the opening session of the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention. In his talk, he analyzes the history of the SBC in a chiastic structure and then looks at the contemporary scene in light of this analysis. I highly recommend that you listen to it.

You may download the audio file or listen to it here, free of charge. More resources from Dr. Nettles, including his latest book, Whomever He Wills, edited with Matthew Barrett are available from the Founders website.

Thank you Tom for posting Tom Nettles message. I also want to thank you for your recent articles being placed in PDF and E-book format. Keep up His good work and may He continue to bless you and your house.

Many thanks for organizing and posting, Tom. Hated to miss this one but hoping to make it next year. One question: Will there be a Founders-sponsored outing to College Station?

Thanks for the encouragement, Dale and Ben! And Ben, making a pilgrimage to Aggieland is a great idea. We could all put our pennies on Sul Ross' shoe before some big vote. Plus, it might be a good way to introduce some of our new SEC kin to the holy land.
