Radio interviews

Two radio interviews are coming up in the next two days. First, tomorrow, Tuesday, October 10, at 2 PM Eastern time, I will have the privilege of joining James White and Mike O'Brien, a graduate of LU and currently a Dean at the University, on the Dividing Line (you can listen to this live by following the instructions at the link, or hear it from the archives later). We will be discussing the beautiful color of the changing, fall leaves on the eastern seaboard. :-)

On Wednesday, October 11, at 1:15 PM Eastern time, I will be a guest of Mike Corley of the Mike Corley Program on WQBC Radio out of Vicksburg, Mississippi. I understand that you can listen live via audio stream at the above link. The topic is supposed to be reformation in the Southern Baptist Convention, but with all of the excitement in the blogosphere the last few days, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't also start talking about the fall leaves.

Haha...I like your sense of humor Dr. Ascol...good thing to have in times like these. I saw the "announcement" on Ergun Caner's website..kind of sickening...I appreciate the way you and James White have handled yourselves during this whole ordeal. Blessings brother.

Dr. Ascol,

I have been following the developments concerning the debate with the Drs. Caner.

I am a 27 year old man who is recently married, recently called to the ministry, recently had my eyes opened to the Doctrine of Grace! While I am a mere infant in Christ, I am thankful to have Christlike influences who stand for the truth. God Bless you my brother, may the grace and peace of God the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ fill you at this time.

I used to live in Olando, and I had to move to Atlanta to even see the fall leaves. Are you pulling our legs with the "fall leaves" thing?

;-) <-- smiley for the humor impaired

In light of recent events, a hearty, Biblical discussion of how professing Christians ought to conduct themselves as it pertains to fall leaves, is certainly something many of us are looking forward to.
