How to help with Katrina relief efforts

If you would like to help with relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, you may now make contributions online through Founders Ministries by visiting the special page set up at www.founders.org.

Dr. Fred Malone and the Heritage Baptist Church in Clinton, Louisiana are coordinating recovery efforts for anyone wishing to give directly to local churches trying to meet local needs. His updates are also available on the page mentioned above.

What an awesome opportunity to demonstrate that those who believe in the sovereignty of God are also some of the most eager to help in time of need. May God bless Pastor Malone and the efforts of all the believers there.

Tom, keep up the great work with your blog. When things like this occur it is great to see that a blog such as this does not just deal with these things "at arms length" talking about the events abstractly, but rather is intimately involved in reaching out compassionately to help in time of need.
